Held it together well at Kit's leavers party, until he hugged his key worker for the last time, and now I can't stop openly weeping while Kit tells me to cheer up and have some cake.

Took a punt and took Kit on my own to the Tate gallery and the Globe today. We had SUCH a great day, he loved the Tate! So varied and interesting, some stuff really fascinated him! Then sat at the top watching trains. And then rode trains. Lots of trains.

Some good toddler activity ideas to steal and share from a brilliant forest the other day. The best of which was throwing your child into pirate prison (tyres covered in rope). Kit literally didn't want to leave, I had a whole cup of tea, still hot! Best parenting life.
