I took three pictures accidentally with my phone and I'm actually quite pleased. Everything isn't quite right in DC at the Dept of Ed and I'm vaguely job searching. Wondering if my old job would take me back.

Between July/now the scream of a 1000 cicadas finally dwindled to the crickets &peeper frogs being louder. Night seems less menacing. But July seemed so angry with burning heat and buzzing so loud. Chaos garden is at max production beans, tomatoes, marigolds, okra, blackberries, &sunflower seeds.

Nature's cruel joke - I spent 45$ on seeds and the only thing that took off was the (prob GMO) butternut squash seeds I saved from an Aldi squash. I have twenty BN squashes. San Marizano Tomatoes and Hab Peppers are coming soon though! Prairie Moon Wildflower seeds tho - muy bueno!
