True. If anyone's holding paper bank notes, they won't be legal tender anymore. They're made from a sort of plastic now. Don't know if they could be exchanged at this point.

Some people will be okay with it, but some won't. I thought it might be worth pointing that out, rather than have visitors getting themselves in trouble.

Yes, it is still Clydesdale Bank on the money. You won't be able to find any branches called that any more.
Just for clarity in case people start looking for a Clydesdale Branch.

Hey there. A couple of things stood out as a Glaswegian.

For the love of dog, don't call anyone from Glasgow a weegie. It's used by people from outside the city for the locals, but it's not always seen as friendly.

Clydesdale Bank is now known as Virgin Money, so look for the latter.
