The night is long and the sky barren and closing the eyes begging sleep to come is as effective as trying to bottle the sky in some glass container, something clear to trap the blue.

Time for another reference dump!

This zip file contains 2,566 photos (6.58 GB) from the Metropolitan Museum of Art arms and armor collection. I tried to focus on the types of details you don't see in most available reference, like hinges and fasteners.
