2024 has probably been the most productive year for me coding-wise since I was a teenager. A whole lot of things clicked together in my head this year and I've been able to execute on a ton of ideas.

Let's procrastinate on my hard coding problems longer by wasting time. Someone shared their Github activity graph which made me look at my own over the last 3 years. I signed up in 2011 but didn't really start using it to host my projects until 2022.

Doing a hackathon at work this weekend. This time trying to stretch out the 24 hours into 3 8 hour shifts instead of a straight-through slog. Currently in the valley of despair with it.

That was the family computer, the first one that was *mine* was a Macintosh IIci with a portrait sized monitor. It was not connected to the internet at all, but I somehow got ResEdit onto it and heavily modified the look and behaviour of the OS. I recall making a CYOA game in Hypercard too.

I played a ton of PC games this year, I'm kind of excited to see the Steam Year in Review when it happens because this is last year's stats...
