He promised me the moon. He promised me the stars. He promised me I could become a Canadian citizen based upon my heritage.
Who can promise these things? If only there was a way.

In describing my #autism experience, I would say it’s a bit like stepping out into an Arctic tundra and my face just froze and my words won’t come out and I can’t get to where I’m going… and when this happens, I’m always desperately trying to escape the social interactions that prompted it.
