I’ve noticed a new feature on X (formerly known as Twitter) that shows where an account is based.

For the record, I was in the Republic of Ireland last month visiting relatives, which is why I connected my phone to various wifi networks in Ireland, so I could save some of my data roaming allowance.

Transport for London has released 2025 data up to 1 November on the most common point-to-point Tube and rail journeys. Bank–Waterloo leads the list, with central interchanges, airport links and key commuter routes. An extended top 100 list is in the article, URL in the next post.

The New Routemaster, originally intended to reinstate the ‘open platform’ and the ‘conductor’, had its rear door modified to a plug-sliding design halfway through the rollout of 1,000 vehicles as it evolved into a fully one-person-operated bus with three doors and two staircases.
