At least there's an option to disable it in
Tap profile pic > Messages settings > Gemini in Messages > Show Gemini button

I know this isn't a permanent solution, but in sound settings, you can disable the Dualsense speaker and it won't automatically swap to it anymore

I know the feeling but I generally appreciate responses like that because it helps me know that I'm not alone

What's the name of the album?

I really grew to love the story in the final hours and in a subsequent play-through (where I put the difficulty all the way down because I really dislike the combat)

I asked the same question in a Nier discord when I was playing it! Genuinely it didn't "click" for me until I got through the first couple endings and even then I didn't love it.
The constant back and forth is really grating so I definitely understand where you're coming from.
