This is a nonsensical response to the logistical reasons this whole idea is flawed. It isn't making excuses when it is simply not physically, financially, or legally possible for a massive percentage of the country.

Yeah. By it being a niche hobby for 16 million people and not a mandatory food source for 335 million. That is nowhere near sustainable, even if you deduct the roughly 84 million vegans and vegetarians.

I can trim mine a few at a time, but her limit is usually three before she gets mad and I have to let her go.

My cat loves when I hold her head up under her chin, but after taking a picture, I realized it looks like I'm choking her out. So it's just an "us" thing. XD

For now. Until starvation forces them to find alternate food sources. Or a bunch of people take this advice and move only to decimate the environment. And I disagree. Anyone can plant or hunt. Maybe not well, but it doesn't take much, and there are tons of educational resources available.

You have to think of legality when you spend money on it only for the police or animal control to come and shut you down. Also have to be concerned with the bird flu spreading like wildfire.

Maybe. Maybe not. Can only be bitten so many times by a dog before hard decisions have to be made. Can't save everyone when they keep opting to self-destruct.

The second "first" should have been "third." You get the point.
February 5, 2025 at 12:58 PM
I agree the first time. The second time. Hell, even the first time. But by the tenth, you have to let them feel the consequences or they. Will. Never. Learn.

Chickens aren't easy for a lot of people, if you're even legally allowed to have them AND have the room and money for them, which many don't. Many also don't have space or money to start a fucking farm.
February 5, 2025 at 12:45 PM
Right. Most don't, which was the point. If most DID, there would be nothing left. Thus why it's terrible advice.
February 5, 2025 at 12:43 PM
When you wake up wondering why your head smells like tuna breath, lol. But it is sweet, for sure. Mine will lick my forearms for hours when on my lap while I'm working if I let them.
February 4, 2025 at 8:59 AM
If even 10% of the US did this, there would be nothing left in the wild to hunt in less than a year. As for chickens, that's not possible in many areas, like mine, and extemely unhelpful as a suggestion, especially with the current bird flu pandemic.

Never thought I'd see a shroom t-pose to assert dominance.

To be fair, I suspect the Smurf Movie was too complex for him.

Irrelevant. The facts speak for themselves.

When the best response you have is an incongruous meme from a 30-year-old Adam Sandler movie and not an original thought, all you've done is embarrass your genetic legacy.

And the losers of that fight are now in charge of the country, so...
January 24, 2025 at 5:23 AM
Yes. And almost all of them take more than they contribute. Texas can't pay for them all. If blue states withheld their federal tax, they would have a boon while the red states started to empty.

When you're shaking so much from excitement typing your flaccid little low IQ response that you misspell your sad ad hominem.

But to answer your stupid question, that was a handful of people for a month or two in what...2015? It wasn't their entire personality and they also weren't made in China.

Disingenuous whataboutism is disingenuous.
