Following up on the "Steel Lynx" token from the other day, I also made a #battlemap token (in #Inkarnate) for a "Lockheed Optic-X." This is a flying surveillance drone favored by many Shadowrunners.

Here's a #battlemap token I made (in Inkarnate) for our #Shadowrun #ActualPlay to represent a "Steel Lynx," which is a sort of wheeled mini-tank. This one is armed with rotating barrel chaingun.

If it might have a place in something you are doing, absolutely take and use it.

I hate everything about it. I hate that I noticed it happening. I hate that they are doing it. I hate that Google AI is on top of every search. I hate that the AI overview had a tight summary.

Y'all, I didn't expect @avantris.bsky.social to go THIS hard with "The Crooked Moon." OK, a huge Kickstarter campaign, so I figured it would be professionally produced... but SIX HUNDRED PLUS pages?!

And absolutely beautiful, with intense artwork throughout. They really poured their love into this.

As I write the script for my graphic series, I worry that I'm doing a bad job at pacing. Maybe I'm spending too many panels on some unimportant detail—or not enough on something that needs it.

I'm afraid I'm jumping between scenes too much or nerfing the impact of big moments.

CONTEXT: I opened FB yesterday and saw a story post by "Meta AI" that made me double take. Yeah, Meta AI took the alternate cover for CCC iss #2 and proposed a highly sus AI version of it.

A GIF of a scene from the 1994 action movie and vengeance fantasy, "The Crow," a film about a man who returns to life as a revenant one year after he and his girlfriend Shelly were brutally assaulted and killed by criminal enforcers trying to clear an apartment building of its tenants. In the scene, Eric Draven (played by Brandon Lee in his final film roll due to his tragic accidental death while filming) confronts and defeats the first of four the four enforcers, a knife fighting expert with the street name "Tin Tin." In the scene, Tin Tin believes Eric is just a drug addled man he can easily MDK. He eagerly takes the fight and maintains his good cheer until Eric manages to get the upper hand. As Eric begins to monologue to Tin Tin, to remind him of what he did to Eric and Shelly, Tin Tin hits Eric and shoves him off. Frustrated, he finally draws two knives, boasting that he never misses before throwing one. Eric dodges the knife and then deflects the second one, taunting Tin Tin to "Try again, try harder!" With a scream, Tin Tin draws and throws a third knife. Eric catches the flat of the blade between his hands, then throws it back at Tin Tin, hitting him in the shoulder. Before Tin Tin can react, Eric rushes up to him. This is the point where the GIF starts. We see Tin Tin, a Black man, leaning against a stack of wooden pallettes and generally facing to the right. He has a knife buried in his right shoulder and a pained expression. Suddenly, Eric appears, coming in from the right side, facing left. He is a mixed-race Asian/white male with shoulder length hair. His face is painted like a harlequin, with only black and white makeup. He has a formfitting, long sleeve shirt on and his lower forearms and hands are bare. He pins Tin Tin's collarbone with his left hand. "Victims," he says, drawing one of Tin Tin's knives with his right hand and holding it overhead, blade angled downward. "Aren't we all." He plunges the blade downward and the scene cuts away.
