I learned knitting as a kid but have been mostly crocheting for the past 10 years or so. I learned a LOT of new techniques to do these. This is the pattern I used:

Thanks so much. I went to my LYS and bought a skein of Nokta Gusto Wool. Used about 50g on the socks, about 50g leftover for another pair :)
