also realising heathcliff was chosen not because of calculated risk management, but because he reminded hohenheim of johann... fucking ouch. also, considering dante is the only reliable narrator we've had in these games, it's interesting to see it come back in the form of a Fathom's biased narration

hohenheim still behaves very humanly as a distortion, because he distorted for his pursuit of knowledge, in massive contrast to heathcliff who distorted because he saw himself as less than human. made me think heathcliff was on the brink of turning into an abnormality during his chapter :(

heathcliff sucking up to hohenheim and ishmael hating his guts is very funny. and speaking of the guy, poor thing :( i absolutely loved the last stretch of the intervallo, it was both surprising and gave hohenheim so much depth as a character and was very well paced for how little time it took up

2) DAMAGE (1-10 scale based on how easily it can kill people)
3) SIN (irae, gulae, etc.)
4) DISTRICT (number representing the district it was found in, e.g. 20 for T Corp.)

interesting considering sinclair's main goal of his canto was to kill kromer. also, it's very clear in the following battles that the sinners are matched with the sins of the peccatula (e.g. pride for ryoshu, lust for ishmael) so hong lu being assigned wrath is interesting to say the least

looking through rodyas cgs and she's literally never centre frame in any of them. i think the first cg has the fullest focus on her but it's off, unsettling. she's been "caught" by the camera, only because she let it. otherwise she's always just off to the side, usually literally in the shadows.
