Noel smiles at Cadence, ruffling her hair before carrying the basket of apples. For an old woman, she’s got surprisingly good lifting strength. “That is good to hear, my dear. I’ve made some changes to my apple pie recipe. Only the best apples will do.” She says as she heads back inside the cottage.
She peered down at the apple for awhile. The approaching fall air catching and lifting the fabric of her clothes. A part of her felt like a kid again.
She took too big of a bite. She wasn't used to eating after all. After a few chews she spits it back into a handkerchief "It's good." She's smiling

“Do not expect the impossible. They never behave. Never will.” She sets Cadence down again and takes the apple, cracking it open with her hands and handing a half to the Krouziej and biting into the other half herself. “Give it a nibble. Don’t swallow it. Tell me how it tastes.”

"Oof!" She wasn't expecting to be lifted but she also didn't fight back even a little. "I'm always excited for fall, and maybe if our citizens can hold off on doing something stupid we may even have a nice fall." She picks an apple and almost takes a bite. She laughs lightly, "whoops."

"It might become our problem but it isn't right now." She starts to help Noel gather apples. "I can feel the weather starting to change. It's nice." Clearly these two are in their own little world

“Well… I suppose I’ll drop some off at the Combine. For your necromancer and her hunter friends.” She does exactly that, somehow without being seen. She figures it might help Cadence get in their good graces… Even though she doesn’t attach a note saying who it’s from. “Just a little donation.”
