I remember this. I also remember fondly our first big screen introduction to a young Jim Carey in “Once Bitten” and how, for years, he and his team toiled to make us forget it ever happened. But unlike real vampires, they proved unable to seduce our memories away.

Wunmi Mosaku might be the latest to join this remarkable grouping for me. She first caught my admiration for the performance she turned in during Lovecraft Country, but I’ve found her to be a delight everywhere I’ve caught her turning up since.
