There's nothing beating the real thing. But... they are PRICEY and a lot of them require maintenance. Thing poor thing had the transformer blow like 9 years ago, I replaced it 2 years ago and calibrated the tube. Now it's re-cap and de-buzz time. Hopefully I don't mess it up =)

Oh shit, it's even rarer than I thought.
According to ChatGPT this might actually be a very early run european unit. It's MB-branded in the front, GCE on the back. It certainly has some features of the early run units, and it's one of the units missing C411 on the power board.
