I think this is supposed to be some kind of satire, but it's actually excellent comms.

I got into politics to Abolish Bad Things, and seek to continue to abolish bad things.

Good thing that division has a Green candidate who supports genuine grass roots democracy, genuine devolution of powers, and who lives and works hard in that division every single day.

My ideals and postcode haven't changed since 2017 when we were trying to build something like what you describe.

With a £400k salary from the BBC Fiona Bruce denies being a wealthy individual... "I'm not sure you know how the BBC works". Clearly £400k not large amount in media circles.

Perhaps she too lives pay check to pay check spending her whole salary on life's necessities

Scrap council tax and replace with something better.

£1.8m mansion in the Park Nottingham Band G taxed at 0.23% of its value

£26k bedsit behind the Vic Centre Nottingham Band B taxed at 8.65% of its value

Worth over 70x more but pays just 1.8x more tax.

This week I helped welcome another former Labour councillor into @greenparty.org.uk I was reminded of the vicious attacks that are sent your way when you decide to step away from that red rosette.

Are those remaining still humming "the Red Flag" as they read these headlines?

More reasons to smile when the sun is shining! Finally got round to commissioning the solar inverter and meter.

Not free yet, just prepaid, but it feels so good to have this generating!

Up early today as my brain processes all of the actions and conversations yesterday.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social visited us to welcome Shuguftah to the Green Party in Nottingham.

Amazing turnout from @nottsgreenparty.bsky.social members and members from across @emgreenparty.bsky.social

Back from a visit in Wales where I found @garyseconomics.bsky.social book "The Trading Game" as the non-fiction book of the month in Aberystwyth Waterstones. The messages are clearly resonating with this community!

Time for more carrots and fewer sticks? Get on your bike and ride away from the tax man with an extra £700 in your pay packet?

East Midlands has the lowest funding for walking and wheeling of any combined authority in the UK. Less than half of that of Cambridgeshire.

Wouldn't have happened on @frankadlingtons.bsky.social's watch.

I was on the other side of the river for an 11 miler today. Didn't manage to get my patch in shot though!

Pointing at a sign that says I should aim for 1000 miles again this year.

Didn't get photos of the mains unfortunately. But this place is a real treat. We booked well in advance as we were a party of six. Apparently they keep tables open for walk ins so two people isn't so much of an issue.

Probably the best food I've ever eaten. Beers were amazing too. Kushi Ya on Low Pavement.

This is my coffee machine. eBay junk purchase, it's had two new sets of gaskets. It's probably around the same age as me, so maybe a 1979 vintage.

We can make things that last a lifetime, we should concentrate on that more!
