Our poppies are up in Stamford Brook! Thanks to everyone who joined us today — and special thanks to Louise Bird for pointing out they should probably face the traffic, not me. 😅

Oh little Nigel Farage isn’t happy he doesn’t have a right of reply, so he watched PMQs from the gallery instead.
Adorable really… considering he hasn’t applied for a PMQs question since July.

Thank you to the residents who joined Louise Bird and me for our first community litter-picking event in Broadheath today. Come rain or shine, we’re here working hard all year round.

If you’d like to get involved, please drop me a line!

One of our teams out and about in Broadheath Ward today, supporting our candidate and my friend Louise Bird. Great to see former Labour Party members switching to the Lib Dems. On October 16th, it’s only the Liberal Democrats who can beat Reform!

It was great to be at Tyntesfield Primary School helping with School Streets Trafford this morning with Louise!

As always, it’s a pleasure to see so many children walking or cycling to school!

Straight to work!

Farage claims to be a champion of free speech, yet his councillors are refusing to speak to the press.

Also, why was he in the USA when Prime Minister’s Questions was yesterday? Surely, as an opposition MP, it’s his job to hold the PM to account…

I think it's clear that Starmer Labour Party can't defeat Reform UK..

A big thank you to local residents Julian and Jeanette for donating several tons of soil to help us with our new flower beds at Woodstock Park!

And another big thank you to our volunteers — Dave, Rhian, Julie, Kamil, and Jason — for their hard work today!

Totally normal behaviour.

Former Reform MP James McMurdock has been referred to the Standards Commissioner after appearing to instigate a racial slur, spelling out “NIGGER” at Sky News lobby journalist Mhari Aurora.

Thank you, Broadheath Community Association, for such a great family fun day! And a big thank you to Cllr Jane Brophy for visiting us too.

Great to be out speaking with residents today during our street surgery.

Thank you to everyone we spoke to today — your views really matter and help shape our work in Broadheath ward.

Out and about in Stamford Brook today!

Great to speak with residents about what matters most — from community safety and fibre broadband to the long-overdue potholes repaired on the Bridge near Waitrose.

US Senator Mark Kelly, a former combat pilot with 39 missions over Iraq and a four-time Space Shuttle commander, travelled to Kyiv to advocate for Ukraine’s defence. In response, Elon Musk branded him a "traitor." I’m honestly speechless.

Nigel works hard for Moscow—less so for Clacton.

Ukraine is our ally. Putin is not. Simple. Proud to live in a country that stands for democracy.

How many more Reform UK MPs or officials are taking Russian money?

Thank you to all residents whom I spoke to today on Beaconsfield, Churchill, and Eastdale Place for my street surgery.
A couple of casework picked up too. #broadheath

I met with residents living near Attenbury’s Lane to talk about the state of the lane. Clearly, the area has been neglected for years!
From blocked gullies to self-seeded trees growing on years of leaves and soil left on the pavement, residents are right to be concerned about the state of this road.

With the team!

It was great to be out and about with local community campaigner Mahvish in Broadheath Ward today. As always, if you have any questions or issues you'd like to discuss, please email me at ulrich.savary@trafford.gov.uk.

The pathway between Lee Avenue and Barberry Close has been cleared of all overgrown vegetation.

Residents were concerned about this area as it was used for fly-tipping and felt unsafe due to several self-seeded trees that had been allowed to grow too high, blocking the view.
