If the Gvmt doesn't act now, they're on track to preside over the sharpest increase in child poverty by any Labour Gvmt in the last 60 years.

Interesting statement. I assure you Tower Hamlets Labour is listening. In fact, from a personal perspective, i am not persuaded a change to this aspect of the current Local Plan introduced in 2020 is needed. Obviously, Aspire does hold a majority of cllrs, but it would still need to go thru EiP

Some parts like the City Fringe and Isle of Dogs have changed beyond recognition already, but this risks development of that scale being rolled out much more widely. I am confident those implications have been considered by council officers, but have no confidence Aspire's Mayor + cllrs have done so
