It was recently suggested to me that there was talk of the M1 bus being withdrawn.
This is unfounded and Stuarts Coaches have confirmed to me they are not withdrawing the M1 service and it is continuing to run as normal.
Hope this bring some reassurance to constituents who rely on this service.

Network Rail have been completing the final elements of the CCTV system for the station and SLC contractors has been preparing the car park to allow it to open to the public.

Meikle Dripps BESS - Update (Thorntonhall)
I have received a letter from Apatura providing an update on the proposed BESS at Meikle Dripps Farm and advising that a screening request has been submitted for a potential Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) development on the site.

It was a pleasure to attend the official opening of the new Hairmyres train station this morning.
Although trains are now running and the station is fully operational, electric trains will not run on the line until later on this year due to continuing electrification works.

The junction, Greenhills Road, Eaglesham Road and Redwood Drive is now open and operating in all directions.
