A fascinating time at Hertford Town Council’s Bioblitz this afternoon. Geophysicists were scanning for evidence of old Castle buildings; River Bean Restoration Association showed me insects they look for to test water quality and RSPB spotted 26 species of birds. So much to see if you stop and look
