The Labour government is delivering £4.5m for Avon & Somerset as part of a £200m plan to recruit 3,000 new neighbourhood police & PCSOs.
Every area will have named, contactable officers—tackling anti-social behaviour, cutting crime & making our streets safer.

Labour is working hard to deliver the change Somerset needs. We inherited a country broke and broken, but we are getting back on track. Just this week we have seen major reforms to policing and children’s social care and new investment for local bus routes - change has begun!
