I am very happy that I learned vegan cooking in 2023. It completely surprised me how delicious and satisfying vegan food is. Learning a new cooking style completely reignited my passion for cooking.
I might be sensitive to the over salting because I tend not to salt my food. My coworkers who didn’t notice the salty note tended to salt their food on the heavy side.

I used olive oil in the muffins and the cookies. There was no olive nor savory flavor note to the two baked goods. My mistake with the muffins was accidentally doubling the salt. I didn’t like the slightly salty taste. 1/2 my coworkers didn’t notice the salty flavor note.

I adjusted this recipe using puréed butternut squash. I decided against the glaze. It’s moist, but I might have accidentally put too much salt. It has too strong of salt not. So it’s just okay. Next time, I will skip the salt.

Really good. It was our first thanksgiving with just the two of us since college. We just made a simple meal that was absolutely delicious. We were totally relaxed in our condo with it beautiful Xmas decorations.
