Airwars has won an Overseas Press Club award for our investigation into civilians killed by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza.

The Kim Wall Award recognises creative and dynamic storytelling. We are honoured to be recognised alongside organisations such as NYT, WSJ and others.

Since the fragile Gaza ceasefire, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have returned home.

Airwars’ new short film, A Long Return, presents two videos of the same road taken before and after the war, showing how 'home' has been rendered unrecognisable.

Tracking the names of civilians has always been a core part of the Airwars methodology, and it became even more important with Gaza 2023. Now you can access the MoH list with links to their associated CIVCAS incident within our evergrowing archive.
Airwars' new tool allows users to search the names of all Palestinians killed in the war, as published by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

When the death was also recorded in Airwars' open-source documentation, the link to the incident report is included.
