A very succinct summary of the problems we face. Politicians and others know this but are not prepared to spell it out to the public. We need to stop pretending that we don't desperately need migration. Our politicians are too scared of the media to make the case that you have set out.

There are non voters moving to Reform who did not vote Tory at the GE in protest at the shockingly bad govt. Now we have labour GE voters choosing not to vote. But these are not the same people.

Hi John. I work in the NHS and am aware of the creaking IT systems that are in place but I was surprised at the comment that Windows XP was still being used. The article you referred to didn't appear to indicate that this was the case directly so just wondering where the info came from. Thanks.

One benefit of the rising minimum wage should be a reduction in the numbers of working poor dependent on benefits because their wages are insufficient to live on. This is due to employers taking advantage of the benefits system to pay low wages and enhance their own profits.
