still, almost half of ppl who drive in from outer boroughs are low-to-middle income. just think a sliding scale model would cause less detriment, not to mention to ppl w disabilities for which most public transport is not an option

i agree completely. my point is that working class people already take public transport and those who drive only do so if it is really their only way to get into the city, so they're not the ones causing congestion but will have to pay the same toll as those u mentioned

your avg investment banker 1. already owns an apt in fidi and 2. does not take subway to his job but 3. absolutely will uber to happy hour in hell's kitchen

it's sad but those are the ppl you're missing with congestion pricing
