It's so, so good. I know it's not the same, but the entire run is on the DC Universe Infinite app. I'm not a huge app person, but you could go month to month and read it for a fraction of the price. Having said that: These are worth owning.

I regularly snag used copies to give to friends. So, so great.

That book got me into comics history in the first place! I took my copy and got it signed by Jules, Simon, Nodell, Moldoff, Robinson, and Eisner in my first few years in comics. It's a gem! web.archive.org/web/20110726...

Love Bava's Diabolik! Where can I find this? I'm totally there.

I'm a huge fan of that series. I'm still smarting on how much DC is missing out by aging Jon up in a stupid way.

Congrats on this! I met him in the green room at a con a few years ago. Not only did every celebrity guest have to come see him, but he came across as the most genuine and nice dude ever.

I can't recommend Our Hero: Superman on Earth by Tom DeHaven enough. It's also a breezy read. The Art Spiegelman essay on Jack Cole is online. I also did really well with Cole, Basil Wolverton, Fletcher Hanks, and other of the "weirder" '40s heroes. DM me for any further recs or resources.

I loved the dynamic of him being a strange visitor again, and older than the other heroes.

Tim has suffered from middle child syndrome for YEARS, with changes made that sometimes feel arbitrary and rarely are done with what makes him special to begin with in mind. I'm really glad Zdarsky and Fraction get it.

My eight year old is better.

Not really doing shows anymore, sadly. But he's also close to 100 at this point! :)

I got to know him pretty well from the cons and he's an absolute gentleman. He also appeared in Westworld as a scientist; it took me a few to recognize him.

Flint Dille once told me they got legendary actors like Stewart, or Robert Stack on Transformers, so they'd have something for the grandkids.

So, funny story: His uncle was Victor Fox, the crookedest comics publisher ever, who I've been researching for 20 years. I tracked down one of Stephen's cousins, and Victor was such a Black Sheep (or Fox?) she knew NOTHING about him. Chances are, I may know more than Stephen did about him.
