TSA lost and found office at National Airport. The white sign says the office is closed due to the government shutdown and there is a QR Codeto scan to file a lost item report. The blue sign has the normal office hours.

The policy reads as so: Artificial Intelligence programs can be great when analyzing limited sets of pre-checked data, such as in the Sciences. For the Humanities, it’s a glorified, and exceptionally stupid, autocorrect. Presumably, you are here because you want to actually learn something and acquire the skills you’ll need after college. Using AI in the Humanities is like signing up to run a marathon and hiring an Uber with a driver who is using LSD. Maybe you’ll get to your destination safely, but you still missed the point of the whole exercise. Using AI for any graded assignment, including (but not limited to) quizzes, exams, written essays, class discussion of an assignment reading or video, or class reports (written or oral), earns a zero for the grade for that assignment.

Here's the chart I created showing the racial breakdown in the 2020 census for a combined area of Arlington, Fairfax City, Fairfax County, Falls Church, and Alexandria. To me, it suggests that the fear of DC is specifically a fear of African Americans, which is a lot like saying water is wet.

Another AI sucks story. My credit union uses AI to "simplify" activity descriptions. It changed lunch at America's Best Wings to a purchase at America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses. I was going to complain & void the purchase, but then dug a bit more and found the screen pictured here. #AISUCKS
