But for experienced coders who know what they're going for, it's a great time-saver if you're willing to wade through slapping its hand and correcting it as you go.

I wouldn't recommend it for students who are trying to learn good techniques, since you'd need to do a lot of rewriting to get its code to use good techniques, and you'd lose out on the actual coding practice that makes you a better programmer.
