Amid #tariff chaos this week, Left MEPs, including Sinn Féin, voted against a decision by the European Parliament's Trade Committee to continue duty-free imports of Ukrainian #steel into the EU – an important part of EU support for #Ukraine. Far-right MEPs also voted against.

Very positive results from #Ireland in the latest Eurobarometer:
✅️ 77% of respondents in Ireland are optimistic about the EU's future
&
✅️ 70% feel attached to their EU citizenship
Trust in the EU is at its highest level in 17 years, the latest Eurobarometer shows.

Support for the euro is also at an all-time high: 74% across the EU and 81% in the euro area.

How about calling for #Russia to immediately and completely withdraw all of its forces from #Ukraine?

A deal has been reached on the EU budget for next year.
