In response to the Department of Education layoffs, I think that educators across the country should strike. Teachers, admin and support staff. Nationwide. Shut it down.

For 23 years, every President's Day, I've gone camping. The flu has ended that streak. The view and solitude at home are worse, but the bed and toilet are an upgrade.
