This is the crux: it’s not an educational tool. I use industry-specific LLM’s to “find 3-6 cases that stand for [a proposition I know to be true]” but not to write my brief.

You would tell the guy calling 911 he’s no better than the attacker because he didn’t personally intervene.
I’m not saying there isn’t a difference between the caller and the intervenor, I’m saying it’s absurd to deny there is one.

I said what I said. It’s petulant and childish, not morally pure, to insist there’s no difference because “The Democratic Party … chooses not to, free my siblings in Sudan, or Gaza, the Congo, Libya[,]” as if the alternative is cost free.

I tend to think it’s more about normalizing that than alerting people that betting on sports is a thing, but I’ve gone 180 degrees from sure legalize it sounds fun to please make it stop.

This is because my vote is not primarily or even somewhat about signaling where the party should be, but about ensuring R’s aren’t in power.

I also agree these policy initiatives are imperative but realistically I will vote for every D against every R up and down my ballot unless and until a viable 3rd option emerges 🤷♂️

When I was in college the student section used to shout “Shoot ‘em like a horse” when an injured opposing player delayed the game. Now that I’m in my mid-40s …

You’re right. It’s both frustrating that the NFL won’t pay for competent officiating AND that we’ve spent years discoursing about a rugby play that broke containment.

Not an expert, but I think ideally you’d want the line to respond to the snap & get out of their stance before the QB is 4 yards downfield.

It’s so strange this is the argument. Let’s say you convince me personally this distinction matters (it does not)— it still doesn’t change that the consent laws explicitly do not & legally this it is rape when a 50 year old man has sexual contact with a 15 year old.

The argument is completely nonsensical, insomuch as, whatever you may believe about the maturity of 15 year olds compared to 8 years, consent laws explicitly simply do not recognize that distinction.

Is it unreasonable to say that the OL has regressed slowly, and now all at once, since his promotion? Who has improved in the last 3 years? Assuming he contributes in his current role is it not still subtraction by subtraction overall?

Have these people ever been to a city? The only businesses that will still let you use their facilities without making a purchase are dive bars (TFG for dive bars).

Relatively uninformed opinion (I’m not an OL expert by any stretch) but it feels like the consequences of promoting Steno coming home to roost. Players moved on, draft picks & free agents came into the pipeline—they got worse slowly & then all at once.
