As someone who volunteered and worked for Republican candidates and later supported and volunteered for Democratic candidates genuinely hopes the political party proposed by Elon Musk, the America Party, might be able to offer a path out of the abyss that now faces our country.

This should disturb every US citizen, regardless of party.
If that’s what they do to a United States Senator with a question, imagine what they can do to any American that dares to speak up. We will hold this administration accountable.

CA is only the 4th largest economy in the world. Senator Padilla is the senior US Senator of the state and the ranking member on the subcommittee that oversees the Department of Homeland Security. Even if you agree with Trump's efforts, it should chill you at the administrative oversteps.

Sen. Alex Padilla, who was just forcibly removed from a DHS press conference, is the ranking member of Judiciary’s subcommittee on immigration, citizenship, and border safety, which has “oversight of federal agencies with citizenship, asylum, refugee, and immigration enforcement responsibilities.”

The House of Representative should immediately impeach Secretary Noem and the US Senate should move expeditiously to hold a trial and convict her. #Noem

We SHOULD be arresting the President and every member of his fascist regime for waging war on the American people.

This is not public safety. It is warefare. And Trump is a traitor.

I don’t always agree with her, but she is right on the money here.
I will be damned if I allow a bunch of Confederate-waving January 6th apologists give the American people a lecture on flag waving.

There is ZERO reason to enter an argument about patriotism with people who still worship traitors to America 150+ years later.

They. Are. Breaking. The. Law.

Of all things to find a hill to die on, the GOP is going all in for Donald Trump, a person who was convicted for 34 felonies, found liable for rape, can't operate a business in NY, can't even have a charity in NY. Seems an odd hill to die on. It is very unfortunate.

Is there a protest in Savannah, GA? @50501savannah.bsky.social

While we still have the freedom of speech, if you're not safe in California, where there is a Democratic governor, then you're not safe anywhere, let alone in a state with a Republican governor. I'd say let's protest, but I really don't want to get beaten or go to jail.

Who knew Musk would lead the revolt against Trump! Ironic, but I’ll take it. Must be a bad day to be a sycophant!

Yet there are those who think this is okay.
The reality that masked men without proper identification are confronting and arresting and taking away people should be intolerable to anyone who calls themselves American.

Why don't you like Trump they say? Do you not respect the President they ask.

Well, it works both ways. Why did they hate Biden? And as far as Trump, I tend not to support racist, bigoted, homophobic losers who want to rip apart our country because Putin is blackmailing them.

When the corruption of government starts affecting your life in a direct way, it is hard not to take it personal. The continuance of support and association with Trump is putting our welfare and future of our country at risk.

Republicans in Congress are nothing more than Trump lackeys and empty suits set on destroying our country. Real leadership is needed STAT! #Congress #Politics
