Pentecost itself was & is always on a Sunday. So it’s supposed that Finland takes it seriously enough, the day not being a workday. Today is Whit Monday, of lesser importance than Pentecost. Since Finland has Ascension (always a Thursday) as a national holiday, it seems Finns aren’t savages ;)
