I have a neighbor with a big giant pickup truck he only drives on weekends with a Vortex Optics sticker that almost splits the difference. Meaningless for most people, a glowing signpost for shooters. I would never, but to be fair, anyone who notices is probably already carrying.

I grew up in a late 19 c. built farmhouse, and the kitchen had a wall of storage cabinets and a built in flour bin with an automatic flour sifter you operated with a crank, similar to that in this drawing. What's old is new again!

So many 80's bumper stickers ruined by my discovery they will not, in fact, die defending my right to say it.

They usually do better with fundraising after they lose ("Send $15 Now or Trump Will Kill a Puppy!"), so if you're in the business of renting the Vegas Sphere instead of the door-to-door game in Detroit, losing looks pretty good.

They're going to blame Ken Martin and focus on corp donors as always.

It's absolutely critical to the entire US power structure that we all believe that progress comes only by peacefully inhaling the tear gas while singing "We Shall Overcome" (quietly so as not to bother the neighbors).

It's up there with believing white people didn't hate MLK too when he was alive.

Yeah, I see a lot of hopeful optimism that I suspect wells up in people who've been more or less in favor of the cops beating protesters in the past, who "know" the police never do that to old people.

He's hoping for partial credit. To be fair, though, as a mid-genx American, I barely recall the Nazis ever coming up in high school, but we were required to read Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago. I wonder if it's banned yet.

It's exactly that Jean-Paul Sartre essay on anti-semites:

This was Holy Writ to Republicans a few decades ago, but I half expect to get banned for posting this.
