The death of the small business arrived in the mid 90s. There are so many amazing things we could be doing in this world if we didn't allow the corporations to trick us into centralizing production. They aren't the only ones who can create, we just need to remove the legislation that stops it.

The real reason RAM prices are rising, not just the massive drain from AI data centers, but there is also the drive to mass produce drones and military hardware. Military and corporate contracts are extremely lucrative. Every missile, every jet, every drone, etc... they all need computer chips.

Personal observation has convinced me that in the power area of politics/economics and in their logical consequence, war, people tend to give over decision-making capacity to any leader who can wrap himself in the myth fabric of society.

AI is just marketing, it's all just Machine Learning, a prediction engine. It can't reason and has no morality. Worst, it's been trained to give us what we ask. There will come a point where no one can figure out how things work because we didn't build it and we won't be able to fix it.

The biggest failing of the human mind is that someone can win an argument, but still be completely wrong. Life is hard enough and the search for truth is harder still.
