They should use that power and settle for nothing short of a free palestine. We must stand with them and demand that our governments stop funding and perpetuating the horrors that we bear witness to every day.

If Palestinians aren't at the table, then they are merely being subjugated again. We're living in an unprecedented time where the eyes of the world aren't only on Gaza but are standing with the Palestinians. Which gives them power that they haven't been privy to before.

If they don't, then they'll continue being bombed into oblivion with unending US support. They obviously shouldn't accept this deal, and they shouldn't take any deal that doesn't come with the liberation and independence of the Palestinians.

This administration's gestapo is acting in increasingly horrifying ways in an attempt to silence decent, so it's incredibly powerful for journalists and activists to continue the resistance in spite of these crackdowns. You and everyone else attending these protests are an inspiration.

We fight in every avenue we have available to us to prevent this takeover, and we support those who are doing what they can. And when this is over, we acknowledge the hard work of every person that took part in the resistance no matter how big or small because without them, our democracy will fall.

But if you aren't ideologically committed to freedom or are loose with your beliefs, then it's easier to bury your head in the sand. So what do we do? My answer is simple, we get involved in our municipalities. We build coalitions to protect our neighbors undocumented or otherwise.

He is creating the conditions to seize power indefinitely. This lack of recognition of our reality clearly stems from the knowledge that these horrors necessitate action. If a facist takeover is imminent, then all people ideologically committed to democracy and human rights have to act to stop it.

However, this doesn't acknowledge the reality that we are witnessing. Beyond his blatant desire to be a dictator, he has begun enacting martial law in several cities, over-funded his personal gestapo, and blatantly ignored the rulings of our judiciary.

Tldr. Criticize the underlying ideologies of mass shooters, not their identities.
