Luc Beaufort, paleoceanographer in our research group, was just elected AGU Fellow! His research in paleoclimatology and marine geology focuses on microfossils, and he has pioneered the use of AI in species recognition and developed optical methods to estimate microcalcite mass.

Today, PhD defense of Joanna Charton! "Paleoclimatic reconstruction for the past 40 000 years in the kerguelen Archipelago from glacial chronologies by the cosmogenic nuclide chlorine36". A great geochronological work in one of the most remote places of the world.
