A proposed 3p-per-mile EV tax, aimed at recouping lost fuel duty, could cut sales by 120,000 by 2031. Still under consultation and not due until 2028, it may slow EV uptake and impact the market, though manufacturing development is likely to continue. - Tanya Sinclair, CEO, Electric Vehicles UK

Congestion Charge changes were introduced today. Rising from £15 to £18 for standard vehicles, £13.50 for EV's & £9 for E-Vans from Jan 2. Campaigners say it doesn’t give enough support to small business and charities.
