CLIMANATRES project team held field training in vegetation mapping near Subotica in Serbia

As an activity planned for the consortium capacity building, towards accomplishing the project tasks, training in vegetation mapping was held on natural landscape near Subotica in Republic of Serbia.

Field work regarding habitat mapping methodology were held in Calacea and Bezdin (Romania)

On September 7th, CLIMANTRES team, conducted a field trip in Timiș County (Romania), aiming to familiarize the Romanian team with the habitat mapping methodology for the CLIMANATRES project.

Project CLIMANATRES promoted at Croatian Botanical Symposium

Imelda Somodi presented the CLIMANATRES project as part of a presentation of coordinated potential natural vegetation predictions efforts in Croatia and Hungary in Osijek at the 8th Croatian Botanical Symposium (3-6th September).

Field Testing of CLIMANATRES Data Collection Tools in Pleven Region (24–26 August 2025)

Main aims of this fieldwork was testing the new digital field form with automatic and obligatory fields for data collection.

Workshops laying the groundwork for field mapping were held in Hungary

This composition of the workshop allowed the identification of category system that both serves the final goal of supporting national, regional and local conservation and restoration planning.

During the second day of kick-off meeting, 22nd July 2025, the first Steering Committee meeting for the CLIMANATRES project was held. Steering Committee members reported on project progress and discussed activities planned to be conducted

The kick-off event for the CLIMANATRES project took place on July 21st, 2025, in the picturesque National Botanical Garden in town of Vácrátót, Hungary.

FIELD MAPPING TRAINING IN ROMANIA, Jun 2025

Within the project CLIMANATRES, during the Jun 2025, we have successfully realized field mapping training which was held in Southeastern Romania. This activity was realized with participation of vegetation ecologists from Romania and Bulgaria.

We Introduce you Interreg Danube project CLIMANATRES, a collaborative initiative aimed to ensure more efficient adaptation to the negative impacts of climate change on habitat types including EU priority types in the ecological corridor of the middle and lower Danube.
