I am a motivated and energetic young professional who has a interested in frog taxa in Papua New Guinea. Currently working on a project on assessing frog distribution and community composition in PNG.
During nocturnal surveys in YUS Conservation Area, an adult Nyctimystes sp. consumed a terrestrial leech, revealing parasitism or opportunistic feeding and highlighting amphibian dietary plasticity in Papua New Guinea. Where amphibian ecological interactions remain poorly understood.
