I loved #SmallGameStudio ! It was difficult to learn the mechanics of game design, but as someone who loves storytelling it was so cool to see what sort of visual elements I can incorporate. I also learned a lot about graphic design which I didn’t think I would enjoy and ended up loving.

#SmallGameStudio Been using Canva a lot to make the graphics for my game and it has been super fun! I really enjoy how this class allows me to develop my creativity in more than one way and it has made me appreciate video games even more than I already did.

#SmallGameStudio The Space Between Worlds was super interesting to play and I’m really inspired by its use of sound. I think I really want to include the shrinking mechanic in my Project 3.

#SmallGameStudio played Loneliness by Jordan Magnuson and it really plays with your emotions. Both the music and the fact that the game tricks you into believing you could actually get close to the other squares fills me with both frustration and sadness. I JUST WANT TO BE LOVED

#SmallGameStudio Been thinking a lot about Project 3 this weekend. I’m currently taking a poetry class and I kind of want to turn one of my poems into an abstract game. The goal is to see if I can give the same message without any words haha

#SmallGameStudio at Picnic Day the library had several interactive VR booths that made me think of this class. One was an interactive sandpit where you changed terrain and another was a VR headset that placed players inside that terrain. All meant to show how hydrology works! So cool!
