The Seattle D2 candidate forum led by WA Working Families Party, WA CAN, WorkingWA, and the WA Bus was amazing. There were community members from across D2 & we heard engaging responses to questions around housing, labor rights and keeping Amazon from running city council. So proud to be WFP!

@mohaiseattle.bsky.social has an amazing 1999 WTO Protest exhibit that's on right now. I loved how this exhibit told a story that's so uniquely about Seattle and it's robust labor history, w/ global implications. It took me back to the 2010's anti-G20 protest and Occupy. Strongly recommend!

Today's protest at the Capitol brought state workers out from across the state! From Seattle to Spokane, to Blaine to Vancouver we demand that @governorferguson.bsky.social tax the rich, drop the furlough proposal and protect vital services.
