RIP US Hostels, this is the primary way youth travel, without concrete overnight plans and loose concepts of itineraries. Myself included back in the day. Even before all this I was once grilled in Canada cause I didn’t know my Aunt’s address (who was picking me up and in eyesight of the agent).
