Oh, well based on my hours of obsessive research now, I’ve learned that the M1 iMac and Mac mini don’t have the pro or max chip you can get in the MacBook Pro or Mac Studio, which is a shame, since I’d love to get another iMac like I have enjoyed. Then, with Chrome, it’s a problem no matter what.

I knowww, I love them so much, but I was bummed to find out how much more limited they are now. Good to know, because I have been looking at some deals on 16gb M1s. 🤔

Yeah, I guess I’m mostly having a hard time letting go of my Mac comfort zone, which would be fine if I didn’t also have PC gamer friends that I want to be able to join.

As an added element, my friend/roommate would be down to split and share a gaming laptop as needed. So my thought was to go McBoob Pro for my daily use, however, all my desktop PC friends keep telling me that’s a dumb-dumb decision, and are trying to lure me to their side. 😩
