Fuck This Administration. De-escalating, pulling back, and getting masked goons off the street is the only way to “fix” this. Sending in the head hate monger isn’t the solution. apple.news/A4ph9OZGfR5W...

Really wishing that Tim Hortons in Hamilton had given me a chance. But they said something about how sponsoring a foreigner for a low wage fast food job wasn’t something they did.

Depressing. And so, so unbearably stupid. Shortsighted and foolish. We’ve lost decades (at least) of progress.
This is the most astonishing graph of what the Trump regime has done to US science. They have destroyed the federal science workforce across the board. The negative impacts on Americans will be felt for generations, and the US might never be the same again.

Power outage at work means working from home. Someone wants me to work from home more often I think.
Every country that has been made great again experiences random clear sunny day power blackouts right?

@hankgreen.bsky.social thank you for the laugh. You’re NYE video was great. I almost choked when you mentioned the Marlboro car with Christmas lights. That was awesome

AI fails again.
Good news everyone, per ChatGPT nitrogen gas doesn’t combust, so NOx air pollution has been fixed since it is not possible for N2 to react in a furnace to make NO2 or NO3. Acid rain solved. #AIistrash #Goodgrief

In the last 7 days I learned, at work, that health insurance premiums went up 95%, natural gas prices are going up 17%, and electric rates are set to go up 7 to 11% all for 2026. Can’t wait to hear Dear Leader explain how Biden fucked him, which we all learned is something Dear Leader is in to.

Go ask any of the searchers for what the Henry’s Law Constants are for syn gas dissolved in liquid ammonia. The AI response just says “yep that’s a thing” and references articles about ammonia in water, which is available in every chemical engineering textbook and not what I asked

It also feels like NIST.gov used to be more useful than it is now. A lot more of it seems to be hidden behind a paywall these days.
National Institute of Standards and Technology
NIST promotes U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life

Search engines are such garbage anymore and I hate how the AI generated responses confirm that what you asking about has an answer without giving you the answer and then gives you reference links to how it created the response that don’t actually support the statement

For a political party that already had eroded the trust of their base, this is just stupid. 100% MAGA was counting on the Democrats to blink and knew they would. So we went through this, got… what, two opportunities for senate democrats to virtue signal on record?

#Disney, drop them. YouTube TV subscribers a deal to move to Disney+. YouTube is so dumb. They only have 10 million subscribers because of Disney’s content and YouTube TV is a direct competitor to Disney’s streaming. So Disney, drop YouTube TV.

How do I get in to the grift of selling carbon offsets? I have so many ideas for a carbon negative engineering firm but I don’t think any of them would make money so I would have to sell carbon offsets to keep the books balanced.

I think I understand what this is all about. Do you remember when Musk and co. were talking about the dangers of over population. They are encouraging diseases to make a come back while also cheerleading for “their kind” to have more kids
This so bad. They're cheering for the chickenpox.
It's not often you hear a room cheer for the return of chicken pox, let alone measles. Welcome to Freedom Summit 2025.
