It has been about 4 months since I read a book and the little girl in me weeps. My eldest niece was so engrossed in her novel today, I am inspired. I need to take a mental and emotional holiday from my life for a few hours, so I shall read a book. This is my form of escapism, it's painless

I was complimenting my uterus on being on its best behaviour this period and 30 minutes later it decides to literally F me up for not working toward breaking my pelvis in 8 months time. Lol it's gonna be a long life buddy, I expect the worst from you already.

My neighbour is such a girlie girl, I find it cute. She calls the gardener to come remove wall spiders and geckos from her apartment while clutching her ovaries in fear. I don't care about wall spiders as long as they stay on the wall, geckos, are shown out. I need to learn to be delicate🕯️🧘🏾♀️🕯️

It is just past 2am and my body has decided, we want a cream doughnut. Just for clarity, I have never been able to finish a full one in one sitting. I don't like them at all but there goes my sleep. I shudder to think what it would demand if I ever got pregnant.

When I was in Uni, I hated #Thebigbangtheory because of my ex, misguided youth, he loved it, I couldn't stand it. I started watching in lock down and now I'm doing a rerun and thinking, this relationship thing really is not for me but I am happy for y'all but I am done unless God sends me a gift

When I was in Uni, I hated #Thebigbangtheory because of my ex, misguided youth, he loved it, I couldn't stand it. I started watching in lock down and now I'm doing a rerun and thinking, this relationship thing really is not for me but I am happy for y'all but I am done unless God sends me a gift
So over the last 2 decades I stopped exercising because I was so small there was literally nothing to lose, I would say I need to keep all the extra weight I can get. Then I hit 30 and did some experiment with birth control, now I am thick going on fat. I NEED to work out before I pop.

I am brave when it comes to learning a skill, starting a new venture, moving to smack bam anywhere without a backup plan, I got courage-a-plenty about that but I can jog or run on a pedestrian walk without obsessing over a car potentially hitting me and ending my existence, that's scary stuff😂

I was struggling to balance my energy since yesterday's episode and I was failing so I had to force myself to finish the drawing. I am left with a thicket meaning leaves basically, I started and I found my peace❤️

Watching the second season of this and it veered so far away from the actual book I think they should just write "Extremely loosely based on the book" because Kate should have been betrothed to Anthony in episode 3 because of the bee not these dramatics. It's like Fringe for bookworms #Bridgerton
Finally watching Bridgerton and thinking it's fun drama but it's taking entirely too long for me to finish these 8 episodes, this is day 3 but I read the book in a day, I love Julia Quinn's writing and yes, you should read the book, the series is half what the original story is #Bridgerton
