Tried out china's Deepseek today. Tried to ask if Taiwain is a sovereign country. It gave me quite a good answer at first but then it deleted the answer and told me the question was out of scope.

I'm a professional cartographer and have made maps for various books and games.
So why did I start making maps? I guess it all started out while growing up. I played a lot of RPGs and they needed maps. Later on I made up my own fantasy world, Etrakien, just to have a reason to make more maps.
