Nothing I'll be going to any time soon, but then again, I'm overdue for a visit to my cousin in Bradford 😆

I have no evidence to support this, but I've long thought they gave him enough provisions to support his bad math for how long he thought it would take to sail around the world, gave him crews no one would miss, and thought, "See ya never!"

It was history's worst joke he found land AND came back.

I've been complaining about James Bowman CONSTANTLY.

Oh, I meant locally! Normally I hear about what Ft Knox has planned for their annual Army birthday celebrations, but the fact I heard NOTHING this year makes me think they weren't allowed to make any big plans of their own once the orange chicken decided he had to have his "perade".

And also apparently only the protests that happen in the largest cities and seats of power matter because nowhere else means anything to the people in power. I've seen some of the terminally-online anarcho-leftists rolling their eyes at small town turnouts in deep red states.

I live near Fort Knox, and the Army birthday is a big celebration every year. I KNOW they must have originally had a big event planned for this year, but I heard NOTHING, which makes me think they weren't allowed.

Yep. A teen from Bowling Green KY with legal status was detained by the American Gestapo last week along with his father, and that brought 1500 people out in protest in that city this morning.

Even my rainy little city got involved. I figured we'd have 40-60 show up.

Elizabethtown KY #NoKings

This span is ~450 ft and protestors are generally 2 deep, so it's 200 or more people despite the pouring rain.

Google Cloud server stuff, but I swear these shenanigans happen more and more often.

My normally very reliable locally-owned ISP was down for hours yesterday after an accident involving a semi and a utility pole, but I thought they had multiple redundancies in place to AVOID such a thing.

Synonyms are going to become the new pronouns as the parts of speech conservatives most want to ban, aren't they?

Tried to explain this to an idiot "web designer" who couldn't BELIEVE I was still building websites the old-fashioned way instead of just letting AI build them for me. 🙄

Francis was apparently "stacking the bench" with cardinals who were reformers and from the global south, so hopefully not. 🤞

It was a grand old building, but no amount of sage will cleanse it now. Probably best to burn it, raze it, and start all over.

Same goes for the Constitution, too. I have notes.

That's Minsc! 🤣

His lines from the first two Baldur's Gate games were much the same.

He didn't stand a chance against a vengeful mama with a law degree.
