Chapter 1 of this fic is rotting away on ao3 and I've felt like picking it up again if I can remember where I actually wanted to go with it. I regret the fact that I stopped working on this one.
"I have so many regrets," Luna says. Her voice is pained, but a hardness clings to its edges. Blaise's eyes flick quickly to Luna's arm, tracing the contours of the Mark. She can't tell if he's disappointed, disgusted, or perhaps a mixture of the two. A profound sadness lingers in his gaze. He must wonder how they ended up here, how things went so horribly wrong in the span of what feels like mere moments. Luna reminds herself that this is the price she paid to keep Blaise safe. That losing him was worth it to save his life. But doubt lingers in her mind, casting an ominous shadow over every choice she's made thus far. When she realizes Blaise won't speak, Luna continues, casting caution aside, "I know you can See." Blaise's gaze collides with hers, perhaps for the first time in what feels like years. "And what of it?" Blaise asks in a clipped tone. His words conceal a quiet threat, as if daring Luna to utter her thoughts out loud. "And you hoped I would come here. You hoped I would come to you. You can't lie to me, Blaise."

I've started working on my little winter project. So much #lovenott 🥰
Luna finds it increasingly difficult to believe that this man—this man weaving his fingers through hers and draping her arms around his neck like a piece of jewelry—is the same man who, not an hour before, was standing on stage whilst rolling his hips shamelessly for fifty thousand fans to see. "You need to stop," Luna whispers. Her mouth goes dry and Theo pulls her in closer. The room begins to spin. Theo tilts his head to the side. Confusion clouds his eyes but Luna knows it's a farce. He's far too smart not to understand that she'd do anything for him, anything at all, even before their paths crossed on that godforsaken app. She should have never responded to his messages that day. Stupid, so stupid. "Why?" Theo asks. His voice scrapes against Luna's ears. It's lower than she's used to hearing, no doubt an after-effect of singing for three full hours in a packed stadium. "Scared this ride is too fast for you?"
