Though you were just a little too early. I am 3 years younger than you, yet Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky was a big part of my childhood.
Technically, Blue/Red Rescue Team should have still been in that time range for you.

Mostly for fun, but I am considering also setting up paperless ngx on that cluster, always wanted to try that out, cause it sounds like it'll save me a lot of trouble.

I recently got a ton of tiny dual core pc's for free though. Perfect opportunity to learn proxmox and create a giant cluster 😅
Also, KVM's: Try out VMWare, they give you a free pro license for personal use on up to five devices.
